What a night, dear friends!

On October 17, with the gracious help of our European partners, we premiered “Und wir schweben davon” [and we float away] - SONGS OF HOPE” - a program of original works both old and new in English, German and Yiddish, at the Berlin Konzerthaus with four choirs and orchestra under the baton of veteran conductor Jan Olberg.

It was a truly magical evening, from the moment we set foot on the stage to the final reverberations of 200 choral singers and 51 orchestral musicians, the quartet, and the voices of every member of a capacity audience from the walls of the venerable and historic Konzerthaus Berlin. It surpassed our wildest dreams; it could not have been a more wonderful event. It is a rare project that’s been offered such a privilege.

OUR SONGS OF HOPE CONCERT FILM FUNDRAISER

We’d love to share this concert experience with you. One final step remains: the 64 tracks of audio and 6 channels of video we captured must now be professionally edited, mixed and mastered. We can’t wait to present the finished Film!  If you’d consider, through your patronage, helping this truly unique project take that final step, any and all contributions large and small will be greatly appreciated.

Though many of you did donate to our Kickstarter-Campaign, we did not reach our targeted goal and so the campaign has been cancelled and therefore we did not receive those generous contributions.  We will still be honouring the rewards that we offered during the Kickstarter Campaign. We’d be happy to send a pdf with a listing of the rewards on offer.
